Using the site
You may read, share links to and use the site's guides and tools for your own work. Please do not copy the site's articles wholesale onto other websites, and do not attempt to disrupt or overload the site.
Tools and content
The guides, examples, severity policy and calculators are general educational material. Examples are fictional. Calculator results depend entirely on the data you provide and are estimates, not SLA measurements. Nothing on the site is legal, regulatory, security, compliance or other professional advice. Your organization's incident commanders, security team and advisers remain responsible for decisions.
Template licenses
- Free kit: use and modify for your own work and within your organization at no cost. Do not sell or republish it as a template.
- Starter and Operations packs: internal use and modification by the purchasing organization.
- Team Deployment pack: internal use across all teams of the purchasing organization, including internal wikis and intranets.
- Completed documents you create with any template belong to you. You may not resell, sublicense or redistribute the templates themselves.

Purchases
Purchasing is not open. No payment can be made through this site at present. When purchasing opens, it will happen on a payment provider's hosted checkout, and this section will be updated. Packs do not include consulting, implementation services, support agreements or certifications.
Refunds
Because templates are delivered as instant digital downloads, sales are generally final once the files are delivered. If a file is missing, will not open, or is materially different from its description on the template pack page, contact us within 30 days of purchase and we will provide a working replacement or a refund. This does not limit any rights you have under the consumer law that applies to you.
Disclaimers and liability
The site, tools and templates are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for losses arising from use of the site, tools or templates, except where the law does not allow liability to be excluded. If liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant template pack, if any.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date below shows the latest version. Purchases are governed by the terms in force when you bought.
